Recently I designed a 1st grade classroom for an elementary school in West Hampton, New York. The concept for this design was to create an environment that exemplified happiness and security for the students as they spend most of their day in the classroom. I also had the honor of designing an activity space for the 1st graders that serves as a place they can go to have fun outside of the classroom. I came up with the idea of a dance/theater room. This space will allow the children to be creative and showcase their own talents!
